Wind Crafted Kiosk
2015
Chicago Architecture Biennial

650 sqft
The temporality of the kiosks diversify the way people relate with space and interact with one another. The Wind Crafted Kiosk brings different uses along the year to the Lake Michigan shoreline, a vibrant urban space that has become the heart of the city of Chicago: the windy city.
This project is a dynamic urban element that iterates over time and adapts to different contexts and weather conditions. It challenges the notion of the kiosk as an object of transactions, fostering engagement and inhabitation.
